As a combat veteran, community advocate, and parent, Jason knows what it means to put community first and is running for office to continue his fight for the American people. Over the past decade he has been working within his community, dedicating himself to bringing the new Veterans hospital to Aurora and providing hundreds of hours of pro-bono legal work for local organizations. Now Jason aims to take his advocacy to the next level by unseating Rep. Coffman, an incumbent who wholly supports the damage our current administration is causing to our communities. Jason’s priority is to fight rising economic inequality by pushing for funding for affordable housing, high quality universal healthcare and equal access to education. He is committed to protecting immigrants by fighting for a Clean Dream Act, providing a clear path to citizenship and fighting against for profit detention centers. He is committed to protecting our air and land by fighting for a federal transition to renewable energy as quickly as our technology allows. Jason will use his platform to advocate for students, seniors, communities of color, and working families who are denied a level playing field due to special corporate interests in Washington and the politicians who are in their pockets.
Jason is running for Congressional District 6 and is committed to:
- Higher wages and affordable housing
- Supports federal policy for a just transition to a renewable energy economy
- A Clean Dream Act to give permanent status to undocumented youth
- Ensuring all Coloradans have access to healthcare, education and retirement
